Student Supply List

Day Planners will be provided by the school.  Please do not purchase a planner as these planners will also act as the student’s hall pass.

General Supplies:

·       White out

·       #2 Pencils (extra erasers)

·       2” binder recommended per course (versus multi-binder)

·       Blue and/or Black ink pens (avoid other colors unless stipulated otherwise)

·       Glue Sticks

·       College-rule notebook paper (loose leaf for assignments to hand-in)

·        Thumb drive

9^th, 10^th &  11^th  English: (Required)

·       1 college-rule composition notebook

·       Blue/black ink pens only

·       3 ring binder

·       Set of divider tabs

Career Studies:

·       Single – section plastic portfolio

All Math Courses: (Algebra I  required for 9^th grade)

·       Calculator with trig functions (similar to TI-30X – approx. $8 -$10)

·       1” or 2” 3 ring binder

·       graph paper

·       metric ruler

·       compass

·       protractor

·       4 dry erase markers (broad tip)

·       red pens

Jazz Band/Choir: (Elective)

·       1” black  3 ring binder with pockets on inside covers

·       blank music staff paper (loose leaf or tablet form – more narrow staff lines)

Biology:

·       Spiral note-journal

·       Scientific calculator (must calculate book--journal log and exponential functions)

·       One ½” 3 ring binder

·       Pocket dividers

·       Divider tabs

·       4 dry erase markers (required- will be collected the first week of class)

·       4 red ink pens

·       CD read/write disks or flash drive (USB flash drive is more portable)

·       Small ruler

Human Resources

·       1” 3 ring binder

Spanish:  The following is a list of materials you will need to have with you every day in class.  The portfolio materials will stay at school so you do not need to worry about bringing them to class every day! (Except during your time @ Crossroads Church)

·      Materials for Spanish I & II

o      1 – spiral notebook or binder with loose leaf paper for notes

o      1 – package of 3 x 5 index cards (you may need more as the year progresses)

o      1 - *Spanish/English dictionary (*These can be purchased fairly inexpensively at many locations.  Please avoid purchasing the “pocket” versions of these, as they often do no contain sufficient information, but also avoid  the extremely large edition, as they will be a burden to carry.  Aim at a medium sized dictionary that will cover your need, without being to large to carry with you to class.)

·      Benchmark Portfolio materials (Needed by Friday of the first week)

o      1 – 3 ring binder (either 2 or 2 ½ inch) – make sure it has a clear window on the front.

o      1 – box of clear plastic sheet protectors  

French:                     

·       1”-2” 3 ring binder with divider tabs (required)(not to be used for any other class)

·       set of index cards

·       pack of markers or colored pencils

·       French/English dictionary

Play Production:

·       Three 1” black 3 ring binder]

·       2 items for prop/costume closet or suggestion list will go home the first week of school

·       College ruled loose leaf paper

·       2 pocket folders

Art:

·       Supply list will go home the first week of school with students.
